This Spring, Middlesex Community College will offer the Money Management Group to help students learn how to spend with intention, set financial goals, and develop practical money management skills. Run by the college’s SUCCESS Scholars Program, the Money Management Group promotes financial wellness and helps students make and reach their financial goals.
“This semester’s Money Management Group will focus on the theme of financial intentionality,” said Serrahtani Parrish, MCC’s Success Program Coordinator and Financial Wellness Coach. “The workshops will encourage students to make mindful decisions about how they spend, save, and achieve their goals. I want students to view financial well-being as a continual and intentional effort that supports their long-term success.”
The Money Management Group will meet from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. twice a month in the Lowell Cowan Center, room 104. Sessions are scheduled for Mondays and Tuesdays on February 10, February 23, March 10, March 23, April 7, and April 20. Running throughout the Spring 2026 semester, each session will provide students with financial guidance.
Led by a team of financial wellness coaches and SUCCESS staff, MCC’s Money Management Group will help students make everyday money choices that match their values, academic goals, and life plans. In a supportive learning environment, students can prepare for their financial futures.
MCC’s SUCCESS Scholars Program supports Asian American, Black, African American, Latinx, and LGBTQ+ students, with academic coaching and mentorship, financial wellness services, and career development guidance. While the Money Management Group is tailored to SUCCESS-eligible students, all MCC students are encouraged to attend and participate.
