This Fall, Middlesex Community College will host the SUCCESS Scholars Workshop Series to help students navigate college. Run by the college’s SUCCESS Scholars Program, the workshops provide tools and strategies to develop study habits, time management, exam preparation, and career preparedness skills.
“The SUCCESS Scholars Program is proud to present our Fall 2025 Workshop Series – a transformative experience designed to empower students with the essential tools for academic achievement and personal growth,” said Farrorza Lim, MCC’s Senior Success Scholars Coach. “Our comprehensive program addresses four key pillars of student success: academic excellence, financial literacy, career preparedness and personal development. What makes our workshops unique is their student-centered approach.”
The SUCCESS workshops will take place in Lowell on Tuesdays once a month, with sessions scheduled for 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on September 9 in the Lower Cafeteria, October 28 in the Student Center, and November 18 in the Lower Cafeteria. Each session will provide a checkpoint for students throughout the Fall 2025 semester – guiding them to build successful habits both in and outside of the classroom.
Led by a team of experienced staff, MCC’s workshop series will offer relatable experiences and expert knowledge. Students can create their own experience by choosing between multiple sessions to address their individual needs. For their participation in the programs, students will also be entered into a raffle to win prizes, including North Face backpacks.
MCC’s SUCCESS Scholars Program supports Asian American, Black, African American, Latinx, and LGBTQ+ students with academic coaching and mentorship, financial wellness services, and career development guidance. While the SUCCESS Scholars Workshop series is tailored to SUCCESS-eligible students, all MCC students are encouraged to attend and participate.
