Free Community College for All with MassEducate & MassReconnect!

The MassEducate and MassReconnect programs allow all Massachusetts residents who have not yet earned a bachelor's degree to attend MCC for free. No tuition. No fees. And both programs include an allowance for books and supplies for certain students.

MCC is proud to announce it has once again been asked to participate in the eighth year of the prestigious Metallica Scholars Initiative (MSI). As a five-time MSI participant, MCC has received $15,000 in support of career and technical education programs throughout the initiative's existence.

MCC Sustainability Plans Align with State’s Net-zero Emissions Goal

In 2023, MCC completed a comprehensive Facilities Master Plan and incorporated a Decarbonization Plan to align with the state’s net-zero emissions goal. While supporting the college’s long-term financial sustainability, the plans are guiding many upcoming facilities and capital investment decisions.

Return to MCC Allowed Grad to Pursue Dreams

After graduating from high school in 1999, Alicia Sirmopoulos started her journey at MCC. She decided to take a break from school to raise her son, but always thought about returning. Coming back to MCC to study human services, she found a community of support that helped her get on track to reach her goals of graduating and pursuing a career she loves.
