At Middlesex Community College, students can get ahead of their goals by registering early for the Summer and Fall 2026 semesters. Featuring flexible and affordable classes, Middlesex helps students get on track to transfer to a four-year institution or directly enter the workforce. Summer classes start Monday, June 1 while Fall classes begin Tuesday, September 8.
“Registering early gives Middlesex students the best chance to get the sections and instructors that fit their needs and learning styles,” said Matthew Olson, MCC’s Interim Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs. “This makes it easier to build a schedule around work, family, and other commitments so they can start strong and stay on track to complete their courses and programs more quickly.”
Over the summer, MCC’s sessions run for three, five and eight weeks.
- Summer Quickstart: three weeks, June 1 to June 18
- Summer Session One: five weeks, June 1 to July 2
- Summer Session Two: eight weeks, June 1 to July 28
- Summer Session Three: five weeks, July 13 to August 13
Students can choose between the traditional 15-week semester or two eight-week accelerated Mini-mesters for the Fall semester.
- Fall Semester: 15 weeks, September 8 to December 16
- Fall Mini-mester I: eight weeks, September 8 to October 28
- Fall Mini-mester II: eight weeks, November 2 to December 16
In both the Summer and Fall, MCC’s accelerated classes allow students to complete classes in a shorter period of time. Students get the same content, academic standards, and number of instructional hours as courses scheduled during the traditional 15-week semester. Accelerated sessions help students finish their credits faster, balance coursework with other responsibilities, and start classes later in the semester if needed.
To help students pay for college, MCC offers Financial Aid and Financial Wellness support, as well as scholarship and grant opportunities. Many of MCC’s programs offer students a chance to apply the knowledge they learn in their classes to real-world experiences, including in Learn and Earn, internship, Service-Learning, networking, lab or clinical opportunities.
