The Middlesex Community College Foundation is proud to announce the Spring 2026 Celebrity Forum, Happy Days Are Here Again. Featuring a conversation with “Happy Days” television stars Henry Winkler, Anson Williams and Don Most, the event will take place on Wednesday, May 6 at the Lowell Memorial Auditorium.

“One of the top shows of the seventies and eighties, ‘Happy Days’ has been beloved for decades, holding long-standing significance in American culture,” said Phil Sisson, MCC’s President. “I am thrilled to sit down with Henry, Anson and Don to discuss their time working on this legendary show on the Lowell Memorial Auditorium stage this spring. Middlesex is grateful to the MCC Foundation for once again bringing a wonderful act to the city and for their unyielding support of our students. Thank you to our sponsors for their continued generosity of their time, effort and money to ensure our students have the experiences and opportunities they need to be successful. I’m looking forward to a fun night of conversation, entertainment and celebration.”

This year’s event will offer an evening of nostalgia, friendship and humor dedicated to supporting student success. A sponsor reception will start off the evening at 5:30 p.m., followed by dinner and an interview with the cast. All sponsors will have the opportunity to have a photo taken with the actors prior to the show.

Often regarded as the TV show that pioneered the American sitcom, “Happy Days” premiered in 1974 and ran for 11 seasons. Each week, millions of Americans tuned in to watch Fonzie say his catchphrase “Ayyyy,” Postie’s goofy innocence, and Ralph’s comedic one-liners.

Over 50 years ago, America welcomed the Cunningham family into their homes for a dose of heartfelt storylines and humor that made Tuesday night TV a national tradition. Featuring wholesome storylines centered around teenage life and friendship, the show offered a post-World War II vibe, lovable cast and middle America values. Throwbacks such as jukeboxes, malted milkshakes and simple, solvable problems made “Happy Days” the number one show of 1976.

For over 25 years, MCC has brought well-known personalities to Greater Lowell for the educational and cultural enrichment of area residents, including the 2025 event with The Beach Boys featuring John Stamos. The TJX Companies, Inc., proud Presenting Sponsor of MCC’s spring fundraisers since 1999, has returned to support this year’s Celebrity Forum.

“Middlesex and the MCC Foundation are ecstatic to host Happy Days Are Here Again as part of our Celebrity Forum this year,” said Judy Burke, MCC’s Vice President of Institutional Advancement & Workforce Development. “We are excited to hear their conversation and share in their dynamic, all while raising critical funds for our students. The Celebrity Forum is a landmark event in Lowell each year, which would not be made possible without the support of our sponsors and partnerships. Thank you to Henry Winkler, Anson Williams and Don Most for joining us, to Spectacle Live for their collaboration, and to our sponsors for helping to change the lives of our students for the better.”
