As the holiday season approaches, now is the perfect time to get organized and register for classes at Middlesex Community College. Classes as part of the Spring 2026 semester start Monday, January 20, 2026.
“Middlesex offers flexible and accessible options to make going to school easier for our students,” said Jennifer Migliozzi, MCC’s Assistant Dean of Admissions. “The earlier students register the more likely they are to get their schedule ready in a way that works best for their work and personal responsibilities. Doing so ensures that students have the time to pick the classes they want, access resources available to them at the college, get all the materials they need, and make the start of the semester as smooth as possible.”
A selection of on-campus, online, hybrid and hyflex classes offer students the choice of which modality works best for them. Students can pick and choose course formats based on availability. Whether on-campus or online, students are able to connect with professors, classmates and campus resources.
In addition to the traditional 15-week semester, MCC also offers eight-week accelerated Mini-mesters. Held twice in both the Fall and Spring semesters, Mini-mesters allow students to finish more classes in less amount of time, helping them transfer or enter the workforce faster.
For students looking to take classes during winter break, Middlesex offers a three-week WinterSession as part of the Spring 2026 semester. Classes begin Friday, January 2.
MCC offers 80+ programs to choose from, as well as access to award-winning student support services. Students can take advantage of tutoring, the Libraries, and academic, career and financial advising.
No matter a student’s age or income, community college is now free in Massachusetts! The MassEducate and MassReconnect programs allow all Massachusetts residents who have not yet earned a bachelor’s degree to attend MCC for free.
