“Full House” Expected at LMA

Mike Love Interview To Be Featured

The Beach Boys today announced John Stamos will join the band as a special guest for select U.S. dates on “The Sounds of Summer” Tour, including as part of Middlesex Community College’s Spring 2025 Celebrity Forum on Tuesday, June 10 at the Lowell Memorial Auditorium.

The announcement marks Stamos’s 40th anniversary of performing with the legendary award-winning rock and roll band, which is being featured as the spotlight guests for Celebrity Forum by the Middlesex Community College Foundation. Stamos has a longstanding relationship with The Beach Boys dating back to July 4, 1985 when he played his first official show with the iconic band at the Washington Monument, for close to a million people. Stamos aimed to introduce a younger generation to the timeless music of The Beach Boys and prominently featured the band on Full House and his subsequent television shows.

The announcement of Stamos’s performances with the band coincides of co-founder and chief lyricist Mike Love’s induction into the Songwriters Hall of Fame two days after Celebrity Forum, on June 12 in New York City. The Beach Boys founding member Mike Love will be interviewed on stage prior to the concert by MCC President Phil Sisson.

“Middlesex is excited to bring the legendary Beach Boys and John Stamos to the Lowell Memorial Auditorium stage this spring,” said Phil Sisson, MCC’s President. “Thank you to the MCC Foundation for their continued work in offering our community inspiring culture and entertainment, as well as our students with the support they need to be successful. We are also grateful to our generous sponsors for donating their time, effort and money to provide our students with experiences and opportunities to help them reach their goals and pursue their dreams. I look forward to another incredible evening of music and celebration while listening to the iconic Beach Boys and their special guest!”

“Both MCC and the Foundation are honored to welcome The Beach Boys and John Stamos at this year’s Celebrity Forum,” said Judy Burke, MCC’s Vice President of Institutional Advancement & Workforce Development. “The Beach Boys music is interwoven into the culture of America. They are great role models for our students, for they consistently display surreal creativity, hard work, resilience and unification. For over 25 years, the event has recognized the work the college does for students, raised important funds to provide students with educational opportunities, and offered cultural enrichment to the community. Thank you to the Beach Boys and John Stamos for joining us and to Spectacle Live, our partners, and sponsors for helping make this event possible.”
