Your Steps for Success at MCC!

Getting ready for the semester?

Follow these steps!

New college students start here! 

1. Apply to MCC
2. Sign up for a Swoop Into MCC! Getting Started Session to complete the following:
   1. Submit high school transcript(s)or the equivalent
   2. Complete course placement
   3. Register for classes
   4. Fill out your FAFSA
   5. View your tuition expenses and waive your health insurance
   6. Log in to the MCC Portal for tools and resources

 

New MCC students (transferring from another school) start here! 

1. Apply to MCC
2. Sign up for a Swoop Into MCC! Getting Started Session to complete the following:
   1. Submit both your high school and college transcripts. Official college transcripts are needed to award transfer credit.
   2. If you have not taken a college-level English and Math class, complete course placement
   3. Register for classes
   4. Fill out your FAFSA
   5. View your tuition expenses and waive your health insurance
   6. Log in to the MCC Portal for tools and resources

 

Returning MCC students start here!

1. Been away for more than two years? Re-Apply to MCC
2. Sign up for a Swoop Into MCC! Getting Started Session to complete the following:
   1. Review your course placement
   2. Register for classes
   3. Fill out your FAFSA
   4. View your tuition expenses and waive your health insurance
   5. Log in to the MCC Portal for tools and resources
