Dental Services Through MCC's Dental Hygiene Clinic!

Hands on Learning in MCC's State-of-the-Art Clinical Environment

New patients welcome!

MCC provides preventive dental hygiene services from September through May at our on-campus Dental Hygiene Clinic in Lowell. These services are available at reduced cost to the community, as well as MCC faculty, staff and students.

Treatment at the MCC Dental Hygiene Clinic proceeds slower than in a private practice because patient care is provided by students and thoroughly monitored by faculty.

  • Appointments last approximately three to four hours
  • Treatment time is determined by the complexity of your dental needs
  • You may need to return two or more times for treatment
  • If multiple appointments are necessary to complete treatment, no additional fees will be charged

At the clinic, dental hygiene students:

  • Provide direct patient care
  • Have extensive education and training
  • Must demonstrate competence in clinical services before treating the public
  • Are supervised by licensed dental hygienists and dentists

The MCC dental hygiene program is fully accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation of the American Dental Association.
